Power of The Purse Silent Auction

Owning my own business has really given me the opportunity to get out into the community and give something back.  Coming up next Thursday (the 25th) I will be attending a Wine Tasting and Silent Auction at the new Esca Wine Bar in Middletown, Connecticut.

The event is called the “Power of the Purse” where local businesses donate purses, filled with a theme of goodies, to be auctioned off.  The proceeds go to the Middlesex United Way, which in turn uses the funds to help programs for women and children right here in Middlesex County.

The night will include, of course, a silent auction, wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres.  The event begins at 5:30pm.  Tickets are $25 per person or $40 for a couple.  For more information, please email me and I will get you in contact with the right people.

Don’t Blink will graciously be donating 2 (yes 2!!) purses for this event.  See below for what is being auctioned!

My favorite model… again!!

I had the joy of spending yesterday with my whole family for an early Father’s Day celebration… and of course that meant spending time with the little man!! And he was so cute, LOVING the camera (his Auntie has taught him well!!)

I have to give credit to my husband for this last picture… yes, I actually let him touch my camera!!

We are pleased to announce the introduction of Senior Portraits for the 2010 seniors!!

Your senior package includes:

• 1-2 hour photo session with unlimited clothing changes
• Private password protected online gallery for 30 days
• 50 wallet photos
• 1 digital file with copyright release to provide to your school for the yearbook
• 2 8x10s and 2 5x7s

Packages are $200, however if you book and hold your session before September 2nd, you will receive a $50 discount.

We also offer a “The More, The Merrier” discount.  Everyone in your group will receive a $10 discount for the number of seniors being photographed that day and at that location.. up to $50 (So if there are 5 of you, each of you will receive your session for only $100!!!)

Mike and Marie – Slide Show

Mike and Marie… Sneak Peek!!

Today I had the wonderful honor of photographing a co-worker of mine (Marie) and the love of her life (Mike) at a absolutely stunning park out in RI (Roger Williams Park if anyone is curious).  This might actually be my new favorite place to shoot… even if it is an hour and a half away!!

Mike is a proud member of the Navy, and on very VERY short notice.. will be leaving us to defend our country in Iraq… tomorrow morning.  He’s had almost no time to prep, and decided that it wouldn’t kill him to take a few hours out of his last day here to make his girlfriend happy and take a few “mushy” pictures.  Thanks Mike, for being so willing to make out with her for a while LOL.

Enjoy just a few photos for now… I’ve only got through half of them but I am beat and need to get to bed!!

Bronx Zoo

About 2 weeks ago, J and I went to the Bronx Zoo (we also saw STOMP!! and had dinner in Little Italy and had the most perfect day).

My sister is a college graduate!!

My lil’ sis graduated last week from Briarwood College with an Associates Degree and I couldn’t be more proud.  It was an outside ceremony and the weather could not have been more perfect!! Congrats Katelyn!!

Lucia Nazzaro – Sneak Peek!!!

Yesterday, on again, one of the most beautiful days of the year (I’m really lucking out with these!!) I had the honor of doing a promo shoot for a wonderful singer, Lucia.  Hubbard Park is now my new fave place to shoot… even if the daffodils are gone (which is a total bummer!!).

Daffodil Festival Sneak Peeks
